Albert Heijn to Go is a convenience retail offer targeting commuters. Based in the Netherlands, AH to go is owned by Ahold Europe. Our team created a new brand and visual identity for the concept, guided by its mantra that the less time you need to spend in a shop, the better.
Our main challenge was to design a functional, shoppable environment that would enable customers to identify the items they were looking for and purchase them swiftly and seamlessly on their way home from work. We sought to achieve a balance between food for immediate and postponed consumption, in line with customer expectations and the desire for choice in a small format.
Our graphics team drew on the characteristics of the retailer’s target customer with a new brand marque that is confident, optimistic, efficient and innovative.
