Having been two years in the planning, the final components of Fenwick’s gastronomic transformation have now been completed.
After going under a multi-million refurbishment, exciting new eateries have been introduced to the Fenwick Food Hall portfolio. These include South East Asian street food concept, Ko Sai, Seafood and Oyster Bar, Café 21, a contemporary Mediterranean restaurant, Fuego plus a café and patisserie. The renowned Wine shop has also been transformed and will link to a stylish wine and charcuterie bar.
One of CADA’s main objectives was to create a series of relevant and cohesive food offers to make Fenwick Food Hall a destination once again. Stephen explains; “We wanted to give back the cities much loved, but almost forgotten Food Hall. CADA have created a stylish, gourmet food experience that has been recreated and improved upon its great tradition.”
As well as ringing in the changes with a fresh new look, the Newcastle department store also features a range of new fine food suppliers. This includes the exceptional Neal’s Yard Dairy of London and northern France-based Hennart. There will also be 30 products from London-based ingredients company Sous Chef – also exclusive to Fenwick.
We paid a visit to Fenwick Food Hall to celebrate the success of the project alongside the Fenwick team. It was a fantastic evening and we’re pleased that everyone loves the new look food destination. Follow us on Instagram for all the latest.
