After two years of concept development, Phase I of Fenwick Food Hall Newcastle’s iconic food hall is now open.
CADA Design were commissioned to create a scheme that highlights sophistication of the Fenwick brand, bringing the food hall into the 21st century.
Alongside its food retail platforms, the food hall holds a number of new eateries and offers. These include Mediterranean restaurant, Fuego and seafood offers and oyster bar conceived by Terry Laybourne. A new deli, Mason + Rye will be the heart of the offer and will open in Phase II.
Mason + Rye will stock produce from a variety of local suppliers, celebrating and supporting their surrounding community. Other additions include a meat and game specialist, artisan bakery, a stylish wine and charcuterie bar and boutique coffee roasters.
Beside the interior, CADA designed the graphic identities and components across the Food Hall. Fuego and Mason + Rye, from concept development and branding, through to signage, environmental graphics and implementation.
Together, CADA and Fenwick Newcastle have created a world-class retail and dining experience. Keep an eye out on our ‘Our Work’ page for further details.
Phase I is now open to the public and includes the Wine and Charcuterie department and Fuego, with Phase II following in due course.
