L’Orchidee’s founders, chef Daniel Garcia and F&B Manager Elias Dayub met while working at London’s boutique Knightsbridge hotel in 2010. Their ambition is for L’Orchidee to become the go-to place for high end cakes and desserts in London and a national brand.
The first site launched in Westfield Stratford City in 2011, the second in the luxury ‘Village’ area in Westfield London, serving French macarons, luxury teas and handmade chocolates and patisserie.
Our team partnered with L’Orchidee to help develop the brand, graphic identity and physical design into a stronger and more compelling proposition.
Following a process of brand creation, we developed a range of 3d collateral, including packaging and carrier bags.
We created a grab and go kiosk concept to maximise the value of the third site in Canary Wharf. This has proved to be the most commercially successful of the three as build and running costs are lower, but service remains personal and engaging. This concept forms the basis of L’Orchidee’s investment and roll out programme.
