Maison du Mezzé
We are delighted to announce our most recent project with Maison du Mezzé, an exciting Lebanese and Middle Eastern restaurant that just landed at the heart of London’s theatreland, Leicester square.
CADA was commissioned to carry out the branding and the interior design of the new venture. The intent of this design was to embody the casual spirit of the Middle-Eastern street-food atmosphere.
Faithful to the brief, the Middle-East heritage is echoed into a contemporary Arabic aesthetic. Intricate timber cladding, decorative arches and Arabic artefacts were used. The traditional theme coupled with the natural materials of Maison du Mezzé are contrasted with a vivid turquoise tone to create a modern atmosphere. Along with this signature colour, the logomark and emblem of the brand is an olive tree, reflecting the origin of the cuisine.
Spread over two floors, the centre is dominated by an olive tree on the ground floor and a vaulted ceiling. Dressed with contemporary Arabic tiles, the open kitchen is visible across the floors. There are two key features; a pizza oven and a grill. A booth and banquette seating is separated by decorative screens, fern planters and trailing plants, allowing a comfortable and intimate sharing experience. For larger functions or private gatherings, two alcoves are also available to hire.
In addition to the dining offer, an amazing array of hearty and healthy regional food. This provides an undoubtedly individual addition to one of London’s prime location.
